We’ve said time, time and time again just how great The Masked Ball is. It’s certainly up there with the best festivals in the UK and when it comes to production, unrivalled. We’ve often placed it alongside Shangri-La at Glastonbury Festival when it comes to the effort put into the production, with crazy props, exciting stages and hundreds of surprises around every corner to create an experience far beyond the usual plethora of entertainment.

This year will be no exception, and while not confirmed, we’ve heard rumours flying around of all sorts from a roller disco to a giant water slide, and on Friday, there’s even talks of a large feast table, last supper style, for a lucky few ticket holders.

The first line-up has been announced, and it includes:

Basement Jaxx (DJ Set)
Jungle (DJ Set)
Julio Bashmore
Mike Skinner (DJ Set)
Ben Pearce
Paul Woolford
B.Traits
PBR Streetgang

Plus there are still over 100 acts across 12 curated stages still to be announced! The Masked Ball Weekender takes place in Porthleven, 20th – 22nd May 2016 and celebrates 10 years on the scene, a decade of decadence. Tickets are on sale now and available from The Masked Ball website.

If you need your fix slightly sooner and are an avid snow fan, Snowboxx festival takes place in March and have invited Masked Ball to curate a pool party and igloo party, to add to their mammoth line-up. The festival takes place 12th – 19th March and includes the likes of Sigma, Stormzy, Blonde, Grandmaster Flash, Monki, Miguel Campbell, Paul Woolford, Mike Skinner and more. Limited tickets are still available through the Mainstage Travel Snowboxx ticket website and are expected to sell out very soon.
