Suitably echoing the ground-breaking surrounds of the Guggenheim, Richie Hawtin has said that his performance there later this evening will be a memorable one. Playing under the name Plastikman the legendary techno DJ will be experimenting with sounds, which he hopes will delight his cultured audience.
Speaking about the up coming show Richie said ‘There is actually the potential for people being more open minded than the crowd in the average club, so although there’s a risk and although it is that step outside the comfort zone, there’s a more open playing field.’
Sounds like a good one to me, keep your ears tot he ground for any arty podcasts that might surface..
