March 12th will see the premier of the fourth instalment in RA and SONOS’ collaborative film series ‘Origins’.
Taking an established Electronic musician and focusing on the effect their upbringing and surroundings had on them and their music, ‘Origins’ has previously featured Magda, Eats Everything and Chris Liebing.
This instalment, entitled ‘Bedroom’, features Ghostly International co-founder Matthew Dear returning to his hometown of Kingsville, Texas.
As with the three previous films, ‘Bedroom’ will also feature a soundtrack entirely composed by the featured artist, with Dear conjuring an introspective tone using elements from everything from contemporary drone to classic rock.
Dear had this to say about the film: “I wanna see some places where I used to go. I wanna see what they do to me, what it feels like to be there. What is nostalgia and what is real, and what are my memories worth?”
Sounds pretty deep to us. If you fancy checking out ‘Bedroom‘, as well as the rest of the films in the series, head to the link below.
