Music tech developer Moog unveiled earlier this week the release of a new portable synth, the Sub Phatty.
The new portable synth will feature Moog’s new Multidrive section, which the company commented, it will add warmth and girth to its sound range. There is a new sub-oscillator that can serve alongside two “highly accurate” oscillators that require little in the way of warm-up time.
In order to promote this new product, Moog called along Brainfeeder chief Flying Lotus to produce a track, using the instrument. The result is a video for the track ‘Such A Square’; the animated promotional video has been directed by Adam “lilfuchs” Fuchs, which you can view below.
Moog Music will release the new portable synth, Sub Phatty, for a recommended retail price of $1,099.
