Last month, HTF launched The Mixtape – a collection of our favourite January remixes. We know there is so much choice out there, so if you like deep house, hip-hop or electronic, we guarantee that there will be something on The Mixtape for you. Whether you want to download all the following tracks on our word, or use these as a kickstarter to trawl the internet and start your own collection, this is the place to be.

Ellie Goulding – Army (Mike Mago Remix)

Goulding’s second single ‘Army’ from her album Delirium is a nice song. Sure it cuts the mustard as far as pleasant pop tracks go, but it is a little dull. That was until Mike Mago got his hands on it. The Dutchman premiered his remix on BBC Radio 1 mid January, and it struck a chord. The transformation into a hook-filled synth track is why it is one of our remixes of the month.
