A man has died after falling ill at Global Gathering.
The 20 year old man attended the festival that takes place in Stratford Upon Avon on the Friday and was later taken to hospital later in the evening. The man died on the Saturday morning, the cause of death is unconfirmed but a post-mortem is reported to take place to find out the exact cause.
A spokesperson for Global Gathering said the following on the incident:
“Everyone at Global Gathering is deeply saddened by this tragic news. Our sincerest thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends at this time. We are assisting Warwickshire Police with their ongoing investigation.”
There has been extremely hot weather at this year’s Global Gathering and police have warned to stay hydrated.
