Jessie Ware Nominated For Two Brit Awards

We think 2013 is going to be the year of Jessie Ware…

The beautiful Jessie Ware has been nominated for not one but TWO brit nominations, for Best British Female and Best British Breakthrough. Here’s what the woman herself said to NME about it:

“It’s wicked, I can’t believe it – I feel like the musical gods are on my side this year. They’ve been pretty good to me so far this year, so, it just keeps getting funner and funner really.”

The Wildest Moments artist is up against Amy Winehouse in the Best British Female Category and said “she is someone that I feel is really important to British music” and is pleased she has received a posthumous nomination. The singer was asked about what albums she was looking forward to in 2013, and she had nothing but praise for her “Jewish sisters” Haim.

Saying that: “They’re just brilliant aren’t they? They make incredible pop music. They’re incredibly talented girls, they’re charismatic, they’re fun, they don’t take themselves too seriously, and they’re sisters. It’s amazing!”

The Brit Awards take place on 20th February at London’s O2 Arena.
