HTF Introduce- Jess Mills & Pixelated People (Audio)

Fresh NEW sound to come from Jess Mills, get in the know here!

“It sounds a lot like Mezzanine- era Massive Attack” Big Issue

“Dark insanely catchy electro” Sunday Times

“Going to be a real force in the future” Mixmag

Jess Mills has made an impressive movement with her solo material since hit ‘Fighting Fire’ with Breakage who she continues to work with. Jess’s debut solo single this year ‘Live For What I Died For’ gained a B list at Radio 1, Maida Vale Session for Annie Nightingale and press support from the Observer, i-D, Mixmag, Times Style, and now Hit The Floor.

Jess has already gathered an extremely flattering line- up of like- minded fans such as Chemical Brothers, Dizzee Rascal, Robert Smith, Skream & Benga, and now her new single has been produced by Sam Frank who’s vocals have featured on both Magnetic Man and Skream’s solo productions.

‘Pixelated People’ is a new bass heavy single that pushes a raw garage undertone for the new generation. This new track show’s off the talent of Jess Mills song writing as well as mesmerising vocals and a feel of  late night city delirium.

Set for release on 13th February 2012, ‘Pixelated People’ received first air play last friday (2/11/11) from Toddla T standing in for Annie Mac, Jess will be back in the BBC Radio centre as a guest on the Review Show where ‘Pixelated People’ will get another airing. So grab your repeated preview listen’s here and get to know Jess Mills.

HTF electronic expect big things from this artist next year. What do you think?
