In honour of the late House music pioneer Frankie Knuckles, who passed away in March aged 59, the city Chicago is set to throw a tribute party next Tuesday (3rd June).
The party has been organised by the city’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and will take place on Millennium Park’s Central Promenade. To pay tribute to Knuckles‘ incredible achievements it will see performances from Knuckles‘ fellow friends and pioneers including Mike Winston, Greg Gray, Craig Loftis and Elbert Phillips.
The party is free admission and will take place from 6pm – 9pm. Below is the schedule of the evening and come here for more information about the DJs involved.
