DJ Rashad (real name Rashad Harden) has died as a result of a blood clot, according to coroner’s reports and his UK label Hyperdub.
It has been reported that Rashad complained prior to his death of an ache in his leg, but was not considered to be serious. Rashad was only 34 years old when he passed away last week.
Chicago Police were suspicious that the artist’s death was caused by a drug overdose, but were proved wrong when family members confirmed that a blood clot in his leg led to his passing.
Rashad’s final release, We On 1 EP was released on the 28th April, two days after his passing.
