Daft Punk Sponsored Coitus Not So True After All…

Daft Punk’s condoms aren’t as true as we’d once hoped…

Sad news for all you safe-sex practising, electronic music loving men and women  – Daft Punk‘s newest merchandise item – Durex Condoms – aren’t as available as we’d once thought…

Yesterday we reported that the dance producing duo were to be doling out durex condoms as a novel way to spice up the merchandise table on their tours. However word has come through that they were promotional items given away by their label , rumoured to be started in South Africa, however it looks like these safe-sex tools won’t be on sale any time soon…

A Durex spokesperson said ‘We are aware of reports that Durex has launched Daft Punk branded condoms following the release of Get Lucky….there is no Durex partnership with Daft Punk in the US and Durex will not be posting free packs to DJs as suggested…’

Though the condoms are definitely in existence (Diplo is reportedly a big fan) it’s looking unlikely that they’ll be on the shelves of local garage stations, corner shops and chemists any time soon…

What next Skrillex lube? David Guetta dildo? Armin Van Helden vibrators? Who Knows.
