Electronic music maestro Aphex Twin has just been nominated for a Grammy award for his latest album Syro, which falls under the category of Best Dance / Electronic Album!
It seems that this year the Grammy Awards are being a little more generous and diverse with their choice of awards, especially with the inclusion of Best Dance Recording, and of course with the Best Dance / Electronic Album.
Aphex Twin will be going up against Deadmau5‘s While (1>2), Little Dragon‘s Nabuma Rubberband, Matt Zo‘s Damage Control, and the collaboration album between Röyksopp and Robyn being Do It Again.
The awards ceremony will take place on February 8th next year, so make sure you keep any eye out for the award screening!
