A few days ago, a green blimp with the Aphex Twin logo appeared flying over London. At the same time, the Aphex Twin logo started appearing across New York city.
Aphex Twin fans everywhere rejoiced, as rumours for a new album started running rife around the world. This would have been a momentous occasion, seeing as James (Aphex Twin) has not released an album since Drukqs in 2001. In a move that doesn’t surprise us one bit, as James often loves to do things differently, the new album “Syro” was announced via the deep web, a network similar to the internet where every user is pretty much untraceable. This makes it a popular choice for illegal activities, but also viewed by many as the one true internet, where people can truly have freedom of speech.
