The creators of Netflix original Orange Is The New Black have revealed a hardened Piper in the upcoming trailer for the second season.
The prison drama, created by Jenji Kohan, documents the experiences of Piper Chapman, a shy middle class American who ends up over her head in a women’s federal prison.
The trailer is in the aftermath of Piper’s exclusion to The Shoe for attacking fellow prisoner Pennsatucky, who seems to be absent from the prison following a bloody cliffhanger at the end of season one. Piper appears to have taken on a Breaking Bad style transformation in the trailer, threatening another inmate with the phrase, “I’m a lone wolf. And a vicious one. Don’t make me rip your throat out.”
The much awaited second season returns with old favourites Red and Crazy Eyes, along with new characters. Netflix is scheduled to release the full 13 episodes on June 6.
