The Only Way is Essex Star Mark Wright Discusses His Career In New Interview

From The Only Way as Essex, battling bugs in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and squeezing out juicy dating stories on Take Me Out The Gossip, Mark Wright has become a household name and one of reality TV’s biggest stars. Gala-Bingo recently spoke to Mark to find out a little bit more about his career along with discovering some interesting facts about the man himself. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
M: Professional footballer (I did used to play semi pro for Tottenham)

According to The FA, Mark played football at a professional level when he was a teenager and went on to play for Bishop’s Stortford, Fisher Athletic and St. Neots Town.

Would you ever consider another challenge like I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! 
M: Yes of course, it was the best experience of my life appearing on I’m a Celebrity!

What would you say was your most difficult challenge in the jungle?
M: Being locked in a coffin with loads of rats – I hate them!

Did you learn anything about yourself being in there?
M: You have a lot of thinking time in the jungle which made me appreciate life and enjoy every day of it!


As the presenter of Take Me Out Extra, have you ever been to the Isle of Fernando’s? 
M: No unfortunately not!

What’s your favourite thing about presenting Take Me Out Extra?
M: Having been able to present such a great show and finding out all the gossip and what went on at the Isle of Fernando’s!

Who most inspires you?
M: My Dad.

Tell us one thing most people wouldn’t know about you? 
M: I never use fake tan
