Michael Gambon is set to star in another adaptation of author J.K Rowling’s work, this time in The Casual Vacancy TV mini-series. Gambon, who played Professor Dumbledore in the film version of Rowling’s Harry Potter children’s series, will once again play a character created by her, called Howard Mollison. The mini-series will be produced by joined BBC and HBO and will feature a cast of big names such as Rory Kinnear, Monica Dolan and Julia McKenzie.

Filming is set to begin on July 7 in South West England.
