Ready For The Walking Dead’s New Theme Park Ride?

Just don’t get bitten.

While fans watch the antics unfold in the sixth season, The Walking Dead announced that you will soon be able to experience apocalyptic life through their upcoming theme park ride.

Reports say that the ride will be a permanent attraction at Universal Studios in Hollywood. It’s thought that the attraction should be open fairly soon as it already exists as a part of Californian theme park’s Halloween Horror Nights. Brave fans will make themselves through a maze and must avoid getting bitten by the real life Walkers.

With help from The Walking Dead special effects god Greg Nicotero, the attraction will include “sophisticated animatronic walkers, substantially more detailed set design and costuming, and highly recognisable props replicated from the series”.

You won’t have to wait long as the attraction’s grand opening is this summer, which gives you enough time to rehearse your Rick impression.
