I’m Bored! Somebody help me?!

I’m bored and you certainly must be bored if you are reading this article. We’ve all experienced boredom for one reason or another. Whether it’s a rainy day and plans are cancelled, you’re waiting for someone to fix the boiler, or you’ve simply partied too much the night before and can’t handle meeting other humans, boredom has struck at home and you need something to do.

Well never fear, here’s a few ideas to keep you from going insane. They worked for me so maybe they will work for you!

Expand Your Mind On YouTube!

Yes, this is a pretty damn obvious one I know, but YouTube is always there for us in good times and bad and there are some pretty awesome channels when you really dig down. One we would highly recommend though, and one that is certain to leave your brain melted, is VSauce who have videos about everything from the biggest possible number, to the invention of the colour blue and even one that asks the big question of, “what would happen if everyone jumped at once?”. You can pretty much sit through hours of these videos and feel a better, more knowledgable human for it. Clickbait gets us all at some point, and I’m so glad it did or I would have never found this channel. Mind truly blown!

Attempt the ‘Spit Like Busta Rhymes Challenge’

Ever wanted to rap as fast as Busta Rhymes? Yeah, me to! Why not try his ‘Spit Like Busta Rhymes’ challenge and make your dream a reality. I actually spent a ridiculous amount of time learning this and can now actually do it; true story. Not only will you feel like a total badass when you nail it, but you will also have a new party trick for life. There is literally nothing to lose here and everything to gain!

Make A List Of Every Concert You’ve Ever Been To!

If you are one of those sentimental people like me, then you love being able to look back at what you’ve done over the years and probably have a huge box full of ticket stubs, programmes and wristbands from all the gigs you have ever been to. But have you ever wanted to know even more details like, which bands have you seen the most, what venue have you been to the most and how many gigs did you attend in 2007? Well with  you can find out all of that and keep a mega list to look back on when ever you please. This will certainly burn a good few hours.

Workout…Maybe With A Pro-Wrestler?

Let’s face it, this isn’t going to happen on a lazy day so take advantage! If you want to try something a bit different from just back-to-back press ups and sit-ups on the kitchen floor though, maybe check out DDP Yoga! DDP was put together by the wrestler Diamond Dallas Page and is basically, in his own words, ‘Not your mama’s yoga!’. DDP has combined yoga and dynamic resistance techniques to really kick your ass into shape; and it really does work. Since DDP came up with this programme, so many athletes and touring musicians have taken it up and it’s certainly worth a look into if you fancy doing something a bit different and can’t afford a gym membership. If nothing else, DDP’s awesome catch-phrases through the videos will keep you more than entertained. HULK IT UP!!
