Warner Bros. has revealed that director Zack Snyder is set to direct a Justice League film after his current project, labelled Batman Vs. Superman, though no official title for either movie has yet been confirmed.
So far, the cast includes Henry Cavill returning as Superman alongside Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot, who will play Batman and Wonder Woman respectively. The roster of comic book characters also includes Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and newly-announced Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
DC Comics’ cinematic answer to Marvel’s ‘The Avengers’ is currently in development, but due to Snyder’s current superhero project it is expected that Justice League won’t hit cinema screens until at least 2018.
The tentatively titled Batman Vs. Superman is coming to cinemas 6th May 2016.
