Back in 2012 Hurricane Sandy was wreaking havoc and Cold Comes the Night, a production starring Bryan Cranston, was put on hold. Whilst the drama thriller was on pause Cranston took the time to create a contest in which the production assistants were invited to create a script, with the best one going to production and starring Cranston himself.
Brandon Polanco won with a black and white short film that, according to his Vimeo page, was written in just one night. Once it had been chosen, he had just 3 hours to finish pre-production and move to the production stage. His fellow production assistants Chaz Rose & Spenser Granese jumped on board to help co-star and co-produce the film. The film also stars Lela Edgar and Polanco got Shane Valcich on board as the director of photography.
