Stephen King’s Bad Little Kid Is To Be Made Into A Movie

Bad Little Kid, The newest short story from Stephen King is to be made into a feature length film.

The king of horror novels (no pun intended) is to have another one of his stories made into a motion picture. Stephen King’s newest short story, Bad Little Kid, has only been available In France and Germany since March, with it still to properly be released in the U.S but yet it already been planned to be made into a film.

Laurent Bouzereau is set up to write and direct the film that will be based on King‘s most recent short story. Bousereau already has a connection with King as he wrote and directed the documentary A Night at the Movies: The Horrors of Stephen King, which also featured the author himself talking about horror films. The short horror story is said to focus on a man who realises that a little boy is the cause of the deaths to the people he loves. While Bouzereau has no hands-on movie feature experience, he has been behind the scenes of a lot of major films and we are quite sure he can ask for some pointers from the friends he made along the way.

With some of Stephen King’s work being some of the greatest films ever made (The Shining, The Shawshank Redemption), could this become another cinema great in time?
