A new trailer for The Drop, the new film from Belgian director Michael R Roskam, has hit the web and it is hauntingly good.
Starring not only Tom Hardy but also the legendary, late James Gandolfini in what is to be his final feature film following his death last year, this new trailer for The Drop features some dramatic snippets and equally dramatic music from Apparat and Soap&Skin.
Set in a run down area of New York City, the film centres on Bob Saginowski (Tom Hardy), who bartends for his cousin Marv (James Gandolfini) in a bar that serves as a drop point for illegal money and valuable goods. When the bar is robbed at gunpoint, Saginowski is thrown into the middle of the investigation.
Written by and adapted from the story Animal Rescue by Dennis Lehane, The Drop is set to hit UK cinemas on November 14.
