Ben Affleck is rumoured to be getting his own Batman film with a title already in place. When the actor was first announced as the new Caped Crusader, reports suggested that he signed a deal to star in multiple films.
Now, that looks as if that could go ahead with a film set for a 2019 release after he finishes Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.
There are rumours that the title for the 2019 film has been set, it will simply be called.. The Batman. Tim Burton’s hugely successful 1989 film, starring Michael Keaton, used a similar title. ‘Batman’.
For fans, it has a cool reference as ‘The Batman’ is one of the superhero’s nicknames similar to ‘The Dark Knight’.
Further speculation surrounds Affleck with reports suggesting he could direct the solo film himself.
