It’s slightly ironic Rosario Dawson‘s character Gail and her gang get’s snitched out in the first ‘Sin City’ movie – because now it looks like she’s the one letting the cat out of the bag about the long awaited sequel!
In an interview with MTV news, Dawson was asked when things are supposed to be kicking off and revealed: “I’m not sure if I’m supposed to say that, but I’m going to say November, I’m going to be honest and put it out there. It’s very soon. Very excited.”
It’s been seven years, yes seven years, since co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller unleashed the first movie – which immediately caught everyone’s attention. A sequel was rumored for many years after it’s release, until this April it was finally confirmed, along with its official title: ‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’.
Sounds good doesn’t it? Some original cast members have also already signed up, like Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen, Michael Madson and of course, Dawson herself.
And the narrative? Yeah, she couldn’t keep that quiet either: “It’s sort of a prequel to the Sin City we’ve already watched, so you’ll understand the references we were making in that one.” Nice one luv!
