The Fantastic Four reboot has gained another actor previously in The Wire. Reg E. Cathey, who appeared on the HBO crime drama as Norman Wilson, has signed onto play Dr. Storm, the father of Sue and Johnny Storm (The invisible woman and Human Torch respectively).
Cathey will be familiar with his on screen children as he has previously worked with both of them. He worked with Kate Mara, who is playing Sue Storm, on House of Cards, as well working with Michael B. Jordan, who is playing Johnny Storm, on The Wire.
There are not many details as to the plot of the reboot or how Cathey‘s character will be involved.
Reg E. Cathey will also be working alongside Miles Teller and Jamie Bell (making up the Fantastic Four) and presumably trying to assist in the defeat of Toby Kebbell, who is set to play the groups nemesis, Doctor Doom.
The film will open in the UK on June 18, 2015.
