A week has passed since the news that Edgar Wright had left Marvel’s Ant-Man which which made fans sad.
In that time, speculations has risen as fans tried to figure out how one of the most successful companies in Hollywood history could suddenly go in a completely different direction and let the talented, exciting director who had been working on the film for years go.
But the discussion turned to Wright’s replacement. Rumors and speculation have also been flying in the past week, it seems Marvel has a list of three potential directors to work on Ant Man. They are Rawson Thurber, Adam McKay and Ruben Fleischer.
According to The Wrap, Rawson Thurber is now at the top of the list to direct Ant-Man. The site has no confirmation, and Marvel is not giving any details or commenting on speculations, so we’ll have to wait for more official info.
But on June 3, days after the drama that saw Adam McKay go into talks and all of a sudden back out from the project. Out of the original Marvel’s shortlist of three replacement directors for Ant-Man, is down to one, Ruben Fleischer, and Ant-Man has become the movie no one seems to want to get on board with. Is it going to be a box office win or a complete disaster in film industry, we will have to wait and see when the film comes out on 17th of July 2015.
