The face of Bet365 and Cockney hard man, Ray Winstone, has signed on to play Agent Pappas in the Point Break remake.
The Sub devouring FBI partner of the Protagonist, Johnny Utah, was recently played by Gary Busey. The introduction of Winstone softens the blow of the remake losing its star power with Gerard Butler pulling out of the project.
Butler was to play Bodhi but there is no word yet as to who will replace him. Luke Bracey will play Johnny Utah so lets hope his and Winstone‘s chemistry works.
The film is directed by Ericson Core and it is expected to be out in cinemas in 2015, but no official date has been confirmed as of yet.
