Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past has today released a new trailer, one that shows more of the films storyline than ever before. As well as this, the trailer displays bigger action scenes than anything that has been shown of the feature thus far. Patrick Stewart’s voice over that recalls the opening of the very first film.
In the evermore emerging plot this time we see Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine sent back in time to his younger self, in order to change a doomed future where mutants are hunted by robot sentinels and the world is a destroyed wasteland. Wolverine then has to convince young Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) to stop what they’re doing and step away from, respectively, self-pity and a pro-mutant crusade. Ultimately to get them to change the course of history.
The film also features Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Nicholas Hoult, Fan Bingbing, Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page, Evan Peters, Daniel Cudmore, Omar Sy and Shawn Ashmore, and hits cinemas on May 22.
