With Avengers: Age of Ultron currently filming at Shepperton Studios, it means that a lot of Avengers-related news is doing the rounds at the moment.
The latest story coming out is about Marvel finally coming round to the idea of doing another Hulk film, with Mark Ruffalo starring as Bruce Banner. Given the critical acclaim directed towards Ruffalo for his portrayl of Banner in Avengers Assemble, this isn’t really a surprise, but it would be the first time that Ruffalo has played the role in his own film.
Whilst promoting his latest movie, Begin Again, Ruffalo spoke to Digitial Spy about Marvel gradually getting the wheels turning and letting Hulk off of the leash again. “I think they are, for the first time, entertaining the idea of it. When we did The Avengers it was basically ‘No!’, and now there is some consideration for it.”
However, he did clarify that this was extremely far down the line, stating: “…there’s still nothing definitive, not even a skeletal version of what it would be. I look forward to going down that road, if we could crack that nut.”
