It’s official; Universal have announced that Jurassic Park 4 will be released in June next year! Rumours started spreading at 2011 Comic Con, when creator and overlord Steven Spielberg mentioned he had been working on ideas with a certain writer he would not name – reports stated this unnamed writer was Thor screenwriter Mark Protosevich. In June last year, those ideas were given to Rise of the Planet of the Apes writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver; who cranked out a script for the new dino-adventure!
But who will be directing the feature we are yet to find out. Spielberg has recently announced that he will be delaying work on Robopocalypse, but don’t get your hopes up just yet! The director has stated time and time again that he wishes to let someone else take the hot seat for the 4th instalment, while he remains the overseer in the ExecPro seat. Even if Spielberg gives the directing role to someone else, we know for a fact that Jurassic Park 4, which is released on June 13 2014, will be legendary.
