Since the teaser was released a month ago, anticipation has been building and finally the first full trailer has been revealed online for The Inbetweeners 2.
We knew that the boys would be heading to Australia for the sequel, but what the new trailer shows is that it is to join Jay who is six months into his gap year; getting the gang together for one last time.
The staple jokes that the show is known for seem to be aplenty, with jokes about Will’s mum and the lads’ terrible attempts to pursue the opposite sex. Damon Beesley and Iain Morris who created the series and are writing and directing the movie have confirmed though that, “…none of the best jokes are in it. None. We did that so that hopefully you’ll still get surprised in the cinema, and enjoy the film even more.”
We do hope so because the first one was hilarious and set a new record for the most successful opening weekend ever achieved by a comedy film in the UK.
James Buckley, Blake Harrison, Joe Thomas and Simon Bird all return as Jay, Neil, Simon and Will respectively and we get to laugh our arses off once more when the film hits UK cinemas on August 6.
