2011’s Horrible Bosses was an unexpected hit for Warner Bros. and they immediately rushed a sequel into production, with the three leads all returning.
Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis starred as the likeable trio who all wanted to kill their respective bosses, Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Aniston and Colin Farrell, and teamed up to kill each others. Needless to say it doesn’t work out, but the chemistry between the three of them was the main appeal.
In the trailer below, we can see that this time round the boys attempt to start a new business with Christoph Waltz as a backer. However it quickly turns sour and so they decide that kidnapping his son, Chris Pine, is the next best option. We also get to see what happened to Spacey and Aniston’s characters with Jamie Fox returning as well as the “crime consultant” to the boys.
Sean Anders is in the chair this time round, taking over from Seth Gordon and we get to witness the fun on November 28 when it is released in the UK.
