Gravity Composer To Score Antman

The BAFTA winner will work with Edgar Wright for the second time for Marvel’s 2015 release.

Shortly after winning the ‘Best Original Music’ award for Gravity at yesterdays BAFTAS, composer Steven Price was namechecked in a tweet from Director Edgar Wright confirming he will be composing the score for the upcoming Marvel phase 3 opener Antman.

He Tweeted:

Huge congrats to @SteveBPrice for his Bafta Award for the ‘Gravity’ score. I guess I should drop the news that he is scoring ‘Ant-Man’.

Wright and Price had previously worked together on ‘The Worlds End‘ and Price is currently composing the score for upcoming Brad Pitt war epic ‘Fury‘ out later this year.

Things look to shaping up nicely for Antman, with most of the major roles cast and now a BAFTA (and potential Oscar) winning composer behind the score.

Antman will be released in 2015.
