Batman, Harry Potter, The Planet of the Apes and much more recently, RoboCop. Now it looks like Gary Oldman could be set to put his talents to work on JJ Abrams’ reboot of Star Wars.
In an interview with Sky Movies, Oldman revealed that he has been approached about Star Wars: Episode VII:
“They’ve called. You know, I’m more cynical about it now. I’ll believe it when I’m on the plane home. The deal isn’t done, but yeah, they’ve inquired. I mean Planet of the Apes, Harry Potter, Batman, and Star Wars… bloody hell!”
The cast currently confirmed for Episode VII contains Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams and Anthony Daniels and rumours are still coming thick and fast.
