Instead of being bombarded with character posters; Disney have opted for a more audio/visual approach in the form of exclusive clips introducing their brand new characters.
Out August 16 2013, Disney’s Planes follows the story of Dusty (voiced by Dane Cook), a farming plane with the dream of competing as a high-flying air racer. Unfortunately for Dusty, he is scared of heights. The film focuses on Dusty’s attempt to put his fears aside and reach for his impossible dream… along with the help of some friends on the ground.
One of his grounded companions is Dottie, a mechanical vehicle that resembles a female version of Guido from Cars. Voiced by Teri Hatcher, this clip shows Dottie trying to warn Dusty about the dangers of becoming a racer. Check out the exclusive clip below!
As well as Dottie, Disney have released yet another character. Ripslinger; known as the fastest air racer in history! Again, Ripslinger echoes the arrogance of Chick Hicks from Cars but with added pompousness and a sprinkle of suave. Check out this brand new character clip below.
