At the Drive-In, in the Old Man’s Ford

London gets its very own Drive-In movie theatre this October.

Drive-In

There are many ways to watch films, from sing-a-longs to Das boot parties, but coming to London this October is the all American Experience. The drive-in theatre. This is the newest venture from our friends at the Roof Top Film Club, the guys that brought you ‘Dirty Dancing’ at Pineapple Studios.

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout October the Drive-In Film Club will play host to movie classics starting with Ryan Gosling in the cool and stylish ‘Drive’ on 4th October. There is something for everyone at London’s only Drive In Cinema, from the latest blockbuster releases with ‘World War Z’, ‘Fast and Furious 6’ and Tarantino’s Award Winning ‘Django Unchained’, to chick flick heaven with ‘The Notebook’, and Rooftop Film Club favourites including ‘Back to the Future’ and ‘Anchorman: The legend of Ron Burgundy’.

The setting couldn’t be more appropriate at Brent Cross shopping centre. Built in 1976, it was the first American style mall built in Europe. The screen is set up in the car park, complete with roller skating waitresses delivering Route 66 californian street food direct to your door, or window, or tailgate.

The event is for everyone, with special child friendly screenings on the Sundays and a special Halloween event as well. Entry is £22 per car load so make sure you get all your friends to pile in. For more information and to buy tickets, go to experiencecinema.com
