Chris Evans To Join The Ten O’Clock People!

Chris Evans to replace Justin Long in Stephen King’s The Ten O ‘Clock People. Check out more on this development here!

Stephen King‘s novels have been the perfect basis for great films. Films such as The Shining, Carrie, Pet Sematary, Misery, The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile and Stand By Me. All these films have been massive successes and were written all by the talented author. Now, another one of King’s narratives is being transformed into an epic feature. The Ten O’Clock People could star none other than America’s finest Chris Evans!

Back in July, horror expert and writer Tom Holland (No, not the cutie who starred in The Impossible) set up the adaptation taken from King‘s Nightmares and Dreamscapes collection. Back then, Justin Long was a shoo-in to play the part. However, due to recent scheduling issues Long had to drop out. But Holland has decided to secure Captain America himself, Chris Evans, for the main part.

The narrative follows Brandon Pearson, a man who tries to give up smoking but is left with a chemical imbalance. This imbalance allows Pearson to be able to see people for who they really are. However, it turns out that certain powerful people are not humans at all… but horrific creatures called “batmen” who are trying to take over the planet. Scared by the impending apocalypse, Pearson joins a rebel group who are trying to stop their world from ending.

If Evans does sign on, Holland will not be able to start shooting until Autumn due to the star’s other commitments. Evans has been a busy bee recently and has finished working on three features, as well as continuing his returned role of Captain America in The Winter Soldier, which will be released April 2nd.
