What no-one expected though was the Ben Afflek-as-Batman-style uproar at casting of Hunnam from its huge fan base. Well, good news for those who felt he wasn’t worthy, because the filmmakers have confirmed that he has had to pull out due to clashes with his TV schedule.
Whether or not this is true or not, only Hunnam will be able to know, but surely this would have been sorted out at the time of casting him in the role?
Dakota Johnson is still in for Anastasia Steele though and the movie is being directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, wife of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, the star of Kick-Ass.
