Batman vs Superman is set to possibly be the biggest superhero film of all time, with two of DC‘s most iconic superheroes, however it has now been delayed due to production problems.
The new superhero blockbuster from Warner Bro’s that was set to open in 2015, has now been pushed back to May 6, 2016. It will see Henry Cavill continue as the Man Of Steel, while Ben Affleck dons the Cowl of the Batman and Watchmen Director Zack Snyder in the directors chair.
However Warner Bro’s have not left the untitled Man of Steel 2’s spot empty. Pan, the origin story of Peter Pan is set to take its place with a release date of July 17, 2015.
Additionally, the Batman vs Superman film still has to cast main characters and reports suggest that Joaquin Phoenix could play the main villain. Also the new date will see this superhero film square off against Marvels new, yet to be named, film. It looks like 2016 will be a superhero extravaganza, lets hope it is worth the wait.
