Last week, Josh Brolin was cast as the voice of Thanos, the biggest of super-villains in the Marvel comics and now the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Originally seen in the post-credits sequence at the end of Avengers Assemble, some additional information has now been released about his next appearance in the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy.
Without revealing too many spoilers, it has been reported that initially Thanos will be making his appearance in the form of a hologram, dishing out orders to Lee Pace’s Ronan The Accuser and Karen Gillan’s Nebula, the villains we have seen in the trailers so far.
However, as the film progresses, Thanos will be in the flesh presumably as he gains power from the Infinity Stones that The Collector (Benicio Del Toro) has been accumulating, as per his arc in the comics.
Whatever happens, Guardians is now tantalisingly close with a release date of August 1.
