Sam Mendes is set to continue his James Bond directing adventure, meeting with the main cast members for a table read at Pinewood Studios on December 6.
The 24th James Bond film once again has Daniel Craig returning as the iconic British spy for his fourth Bond movie. Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear and Ben Whishaw will also be reprising their roles this time around.
Mendes, who directed previous film, Skyfall, is helming from a script by John Logan that was rewritten by the team of Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.
Skyfall is the top grosser in the franchise with $1.1 billion worldwide and has numerous bests, including the best DVD/Blu-Ray seller and the all-time best performer at the UK box office. Additionally, Adele’s original song and the film’s sound editing both won oscars.
MGM and Sony had no comment on the news, first reported on the MI6 website.
