This month’s British Vogue’s iPad app features a special and exclusive film shot by Glen Luchford entitled “Life Through a Lens“. The film shot to accompany his fashion story is styled by Jane How.
How used the Seventies wardrobe of Linda McCartney as inspiration for the exclusive shoot and also used pieces from Linda’s own archive. The film appropriately uses the song ‘Maybe I’m Amazed’ by Paul McCartney.
When Vogue showed the shoot to him the musician is reported to have nearly cried with nostalgia.
Linda and Paul McCartney’s daughter and famed designer, Stella McCartney, said: “Watching the Linda film by Glen and Jane blew me away. It was as if Mum had come alive in images I had seen as a child. He has captured her free spirit and inner beauty, but the fact that he met her I think shows the impression she left on him.” Download the Vogue iPad app now to see the full film.
