Vanessa Hudgens Stars In Bongo’s Un-Retouched Campaign

Denim brand Bongo have gone against the recent Photoshop craze by releasing a “100% All Natural” advertising campaign. It is a breath of fresh air in an industry which retouches pictures of already beautiful looking models to reach an unrealistic and unnatural level of perfection.

The un-retouched campaign features the naturally stunning actress Vanessa Hudgens. It is her second season as the face of Bongo and she released images of the new ads over her social media pages on Wednesday using the hashtag #BongoGetsReal. The advert will debut in printed publications including Teen Vogue and Seventeen in August.

It is great news that the images will feature in magazines aimed at young women as it shows them a real woman who they can look up to and admire for a change. Hopefully it will encourage a more natural look and inspire body confidence in the readers.

Hudgens spoke about her new campaign in a statement: “It’s so important for girls to remember that real beauty shines from within and I’m so proud that Bongo is choosing to send such a positive message with this campaign.”
