Valentino have definitely had a good year, as the label revealed this week that their earnings haven’t just risen… they’ve doubled!

Before taxes, interest, depreciation and all that jazz, the brand raked in an impressive $65 million, compared to $34 million the year before. It seems the only way is up for Valentino.

CEO Stefano Sassi said that the brand’s focal point this next year was “not about conquering new markets, but about increasing penetration in those where we are already present”. We can tell, as this year’s plans for the opening of high-profile flagship stores in New York, Rome and even Hong Kong are in full swing.
