Whilst other high street brands are collaborating with big designer names, & Other Stories new Co-Lab collection introduces us to style names that we otherwise may not have discovered.
Following the success of the previous collaboration with Susie Bubble and Lykke Li, & Other Stories have teamed up with Moscow based designer Vika Gazinskaya in a new collection that promises to be modern yet expressive.
“Vika’s collection feels very right for this season,” said Samuel Fernström, head of & Other Stories. “Her prints and silhouettes feel very modern… For us, it’s important that the Co-Lab complements our own collections. It could be a shoe collection, bags, ready-to-wear, but we always choose the Co-Lab designers because we admire the designers’ aesthetics, talent and style.”
The collection boasts classy feminine silhouettes juxtaposed by child-like prints. From smart tailored shirts and cropped trousers to whimsical dresses and pointed-toe wedges, the collection makes for a versatile summer wardrobe and all at an affordable price.
On her collection Gazinskaya said: “With this collection I really wanted to give people the opportunity to get my prints at an affordable price.”
“The stroke line crayon print is my signature, the polka dots are colourful classics, and the dandelions are graphic with a naive essence, giving a mix of prints that is timeless, playful and fashionable.”
