Stefano Pilati’s Collection Zero

Get the low down on our fave Stefano Pilati Collection Zero pieces, here.

Reaping the benefits of the Agnona archives, Stefano Pilati’s Collection Zero basks in the glory of cashmeres, simplistic leathers, printed shifts and structured shaping. The collection takes on a timeless superiority as an ode to the antique of Agnona, showcasing the fullest of spectrum’s of all from colour to shape, garment to fabric. We’re suckers for the strict cuts, boyish frames and understated colour compilations pictured above. The collection landed after Pilati’s break from Yves Saint Laurent in 2006, where he teamed with Ermenegildo Zegna as design and creative director for the company. The collection was launched with aim for fresh direction, exploring a season less style, stripped of ‘must-haves’ and ‘get the look’s. An ELLE post anticipating the launch of the collection summed up Collection Zero’s titling with ease – ” You can forget everything you know about cycles and seasons, too – this isn’t spring/summer. It’s zero.” Its unique, yet pure, and you can view the full collection, here.
