We are all used to shopping from the comfort of our own homes. And now it seems that in the near future, we might be able to shop from our Twitter feeds too.
A report by the Los Angeles Times indicated that the social media’s mobile app briefly displayed a ‘Buy now’ button for several tweets associated with merchandise from the web-based store Fancy. Although the buttons were not functional, social media experts believe that the incident was either experimental or accidental.
With Twitter representatives declining to comment on these rumours, there is currently no guarantee that the alleged ‘Buy now’ button will become a permanent fixture on the social media site.
