To add to the excitement of London Fashion Week, Katie Eary’s quirky designs will incorporated and launched on the 18th of February.
The collaboration is part of the Design Forum Collaboration and as well as runway show a short film will be shown. Inspired by Hunter S Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas the collection uses neon coloured fabrics with animal prints for a fun summer look. Getting blazed was the norm of the 1960’s counterculture as featured in Hunter’s novel and also in Katie’s collection with sexy flame prints and gold detailing.
Celebrating the rise of the hippie culture the silhouette are fluid in silky fabrics complete with a leather fringe bag. Having to compete with Rihanna’s collection, Katie has put her best on show, so brace yourself for a collection to have you fired up for summer.
