As if her debut album reaching the no1 spot in 19 countries and being the face of Vogue’s March issue wasn’t enough, Lana Del Rey now has a bag named after her.
After Christopher Kane played ‘Video Games’ during last seasons show everyone fell madly in love with the sultry songstress but it was Mulberry who got her to perform at the fashion brands pool party last year and now use her name on a new line of bags.
But it’s not only the singers name that is attached to the bag. The design is based around Lana’s retro glamour and vintage style.
The sleek structured Del Rey bag comes in a variety of colours and textures: Deer Brown Grainy Print, Black Forest Soft Matte, Black Soft Spongy and Petrol Veg Tanned Lambskin leathers (all pictured) and launches in May as part of the A/W 12 Main Collection.
The Catwalk Collection that has just graced the runway during London Fashion Week features metallics, snake and croc prints and an oversized version available from September.
Talking about the bag Lana said, ‘I love the design, a perfect mix between old school Hollywood and contemporary style. It’s an honour that such a classic and prestigious brand would name a bag after me.’
