Last year, Jennifer Lawrence won the best actress award wearing a bridal- looking Dior Couture frock, but she wasn’t the only one who also won best actress in Dior. Back in 2006, Reese Witherspoon also snapped up the award in a vintage Christian Dior number. The most worn designer on the red carpet at the Oscars was non other than the uber cool, Versace.
In 2000, Angelina Jolie picked up best supporting actress sporting the label and in 2003, Catherine Zeta-Jones won the same award also wearing a piece from the designer. Not forgetting Valentino, which has become one of the winner’s top choices. He has a dressed a fair amount of best actresses, including Cate Blanchett and Julia Roberts.
As for jewellery, Chopard seems to have topped the list with Charlize Theron accepting her best actress award in 2004 wearing the luxury brand, and for nine consecutive years, an Oscar winner wore Chopard.
